West/Southwest Victim Services provides a wide array of services to victims of serious crime in the 12th, 16th, 18th and 19th police districts. Services include: court accompaniment, support and advocacy, counseling and assistance with crime victims' compensation.
FMV provides a wide variety of services to the surviving family members and friends of homicide victims (co-victims) including court accompaniment, information and supportive counseling, assistance with crime victims compensation, information about criminal justice system proceedings and a support group for homicide co-victims.
The AVP Counseling Center provides therapeutic services to child, youth and adult co-victims of homicide. Services are offered on an individual, family and group basis.

Victim Assistance Services provides assistance in making reports of child sexual abuse and supporting adult survivors of sexual abuse report abuse to law enforcement authorities and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Victim Assistance Coordinators provide access to outpatient counseling, psychiatric care, medications, and other outpatient mental health services. Assistance in securing specialized treatment in areas of substance abuse treatment is also provided along with counseling services for family members when appropriate. Emergency financial assistance, case management, vocational training, and other support services as appropriate are also provided. Victim Assistance Services provides assistance to parents and their child if the child sexual abuse is suspected and will aid in making mandatory reports to Child Line and law enforcement authorities. The Victim Assistance Coordinators will also connect parents and children to local victim services as well as specialized evaluation and intervention services for the child.

A free and confidential telephone service that provides information to older persons about their rights, referrals to community resources, problem solving, and assistance with accessing complicated programs. We also provide options counseling to victims of abuse, neglect and crime as well as to family members and professionals.
A service used to replace or repair locks, board or repair windows and doors, and assist in making elderly crime victims secure in their home environments.
Victim assistance program for older persons. As a free service we provide court accompaniment at the Criminal Justice Center (CJC), help arrange transportation to the CJC, assistance with Crime Victims Compensation, criminal justice and aging information, community education and presentations, assistance with preparing Victim Impact Statements, and assistance with restitution.

SAFE is a program for children and adolescents who have been sexually abused. Services include: assessment of propriety for treatment, family therapy, individual talk and play therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, assistance with case management issues (i.e. transportation, linkages with other social services) and coordination with other levels of care.

CcTC's Trauma Services Program serves children ages two through thirteen who have witnesses or experienced a recent traumatic event such as homicide, fire, catastrophic accident, physical or sexual abuse or domestic violence. This program includes an evaluation of the child's functioning and symptoms and provides specialized individual and family therapy to help children and their families recover from traumatic events. The program also provides professional training on trauma-related topics.

Our program is a peer support group model to help children, teens and their parents/guardians cope and grow through their grief experience. Research and experience shows that our philosophy of peer support, adult mentors, and creative modalities of play and expression work best for grieving children. We are beginning a new program with the Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia to provide grief support for children coping with homicide. The Center runs separate sessions for 6-8 year olds, one for 9-12 year olds and a teen group. A support group for adult caregivers is held while the children are in their group.

This program is committed to ending intimate and family violence by providing confidential and supportive options-counseling in a safe, linguistically and culturally sensitive environment. The program empowers survivors of domestic violence heir children and their families to achieve violence-free lives through the provision of medical and legal advocacy, child advocacy, a 24 hour hotline, counseling, safety planning, referral services and support groups.
The center is designed to support women in the community who suffer from isolation, depression, unemployment, language barriers, violence and other critical issues. The center encourages female leadership and mutual sharing of skills and emotional support through socialization and skill-building activities.

The mission of the Good Shepherd Mediation Program (GSMP) is to encourage peace, reconciliation, and social justice through the use of mediation and other constructive conflict resolution processes. GSMP works to empower Philadelphia community residents to creatively search for meaningful and lasting solutions to their conflicts without resorting to crime or violence. With the use of a trained neutral third party, GSMP's Restorative Justice Initiative provides four (4) models of dialogue to allow victims a voice in a just process. Voluntary services that include Victim-Offender Conferencing, Restorative Group Conferencing, Healing Circles ad Family Group Decision Making allow victims to increase their knowledge of the offense, hold the offending person directly accountable, build upon their support system and the opportunity to heal from their victimization. A Victim's choice of services is dependent on their interest to invite the offending person into the process. Models may be adapted to address a large variety of issues that do not include the offending person. GSMP's Community Mediation services accept referrals for neighborhood, small claims, petty crimes, housing and employment disputes. GSMP's Family passages Initiative provides mediation services that include Parent-Youth Mediation, Divorce, Custody and Partnership Dissolution. Additional mediation services include Elder Mediation, Multi-Party Mediation, Truancy Mediation, Conflict Coaching and Meeting Facilitation. The Bilingual Domestic Violence Program is committed to providing a safe space for victims/survivors of domestic violence. Specific services include: 24-hour collaborative hotline (1-866-SAFE-014), crisis intervention in-person and via phone, ongoing individual and group counseling, court accompaniment, and the Shelia Brown Transitional Housing Program. Crisis, ongoing counseling and advocacy are provided in a variety of settings including Adult Philadelphia Probation Department, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and the Riverside Correctional Facility. The BDVP provides education and training about domestic violence for youth, community groups, professionals, workplaces and congregations. The Bilingual Domestic Violence Program serves male, female and transgender victims of domestic violence. All services are offered in English and Spanish. Philadelphia Domestic Violence Hotline The Bilingual Domestic Violence Program collaboratively operates Philadelphia's 24 hour city-wide domestic violence hotline. Additionally, referrals for other needs and services are available. A language line connection helps to proved service in multiple languages, as necessary.

MADD's Victim Assistance Program supports all those who have been impacted by the crime of drunk driving. Bereaved families and injured victims of drunk driving crashes may call MADD 24 hours a day to reach a trained victim advocate who can provide emotional support, free literature on victim issues, information, referrals, guidance through the criminal justice system and court accompaniment. MADD Southeast holds monthly support groups and annual candlelight vigils.

V/WSSP is an independent, non-profit agency that has been providing direct services to crime victims in South Philadelphia since 1989.
